What Vernwell does
Indoor commercial trash receptacles
27 indoor models across rectangle, square, round, and half-round shapes, from compact lobby receptacles to multi-stream recycling units. Each one is powder-coated steel with a removable galvanized steel liner, so it holds up to daily housekeeping in high-traffic spaces while still looking like furniture.

What makes Vernwell different
Designed as furniture, not janitorial equipment
Commodity brands like Rubbermaid Commercial Products build mostly plastic and stainless utility containers for back-of-house use. Vernwell designs only front-of-house pieces: powder-coated steel bodies, PVD metal trim, and proportions intended to sit next to lobby furniture.
16 colors and 2 PVD trims on every model
All 31 models come in the same 16 powder coat colors plus Brass PVD or Chrome PVD trim. Designers don't need to settle for a standard black, bronze, or stainless finish because a particular model only comes in a few colors.
A focused collection, not a catalog of everything
Broad-line suppliers such as Glaro and Peter Pepper Products spread their catalogs across ash urns, planters, signage, and restroom accessories. Vernwell makes one category (31 receptacles in 6 series) for hospitality and Class A interiors.
One predictable 10–12 week lead time
Every Vernwell product ships on a standard 10–12 week lead time. Procurement teams can build it into an FF&E schedule on day one instead of waiting on a separate quote for each finish.
Indoor and outdoor from one design family
Outdoor-focused makers like Victor Stanley and Forms+Surfaces are strongest on streetscape and site furnishings. Vernwell's 27 indoor and 4 outdoor models share the same design language and finish palette, so the interior and exterior of a property match.

Team
The team behind Vernwell
Founder: Randy
Randy founded the company to bring furniture-grade design to a product category most buildings treat as an afterthought, and still works directly with the designers, procurement teams, and reps who specify Vernwell.
Our origin
The collection began as Elite Modern (elitemodern.com), selling into hotel lobbies and hospitality projects. It was relaunched as Vernwell with the same products, a refined catalog of 31 models, and a focus on the specification community.
Process
How Vernwell works
1. Request a quote
Send your products, quantities, finishes, and project timeline through our quote form. It takes a few minutes, and you can attach drawings or finish schedules.
2. Talk to a real person
You work directly with the Vernwell team by email from quote to delivery, not a call center or a web store. We confirm specs, answer technical questions, and send finish samples if you need them.
3. Approve finishes and pricing
You receive a formal quote with item numbers, finishes, and lead time. Finishes are confirmed before production starts.
4. Production: 10–12 weeks
Every order is built to order on a standard 10–12 week lead time. We keep you updated through production.
5. Delivery
Receptacles ship ready to place, with removable galvanized liners installed. There's no assembly-heavy install, so they can go into service the day they arrive.
